After 5 years in the UPSC journey,  including MAINS attempts in 2022 and 2024 (including IFoS 2024), we've faced the confusion and overwhelming complexity of current guidance.

It's heartbreaking to see  many struggling through prelims and  MAINS facing content-heavy, frustrating courses that create unnecessary FOMO.

Current scenario [Mains]

The current state of the UPSC coaching industry reflects a cycle of overcomplication and inefficiency that leaves aspirants frustrated and disillusioned. On one hand, we see a trend where online courses—led by recent qualifiers and seasoned veterans—charge exorbitant fees, promising exclusive strategies and comprehensive content. However, these courses often overwhelm students with unnecessarily vast study materials, stretching across 500-600 pages per topic, leading to information overload. Deadlines are frequently missed, and the lack of efficient planning adds to the frustration.

Current scenario [Prelims]

For prelims, the issue is even more pronounced. These platforms attempt to teach "everything under the sun," forcing aspirants to sift through irrelevant information rather than focusing on core concepts and high-probability areas. Smaller, affordable platforms, while providing some respite in terms of cost, often compromise on quality, leaving students stuck in confusion with subpar guidance and outdated strategies. This pattern has turned UPSC preparation into a maze of inefficiency and over-preparation, deterring aspirants from adopting a focused, streamlined approach.
